I can get Nero Platinum 2014 for under $25. Does the latest version of Nero do more than what's available in freeware products? I'm more interested in the cd burning and movie/slideshow creating and editing than anything else.

Also how resource hungry is Nero? I realize editing videos is usually resource intensive but is Nero especially intensive or about normal?

My computer is 32 bit Windows 7 core 2 duo.

Nero Platinum 2014 doesn't do anything different than any other nero suite except for the fact that 2014 is more windows 8 App orientated.

USA still the best. But barely.
Can't see the sense in paying for any burner program. There are countless free great alternatives.
