Hi, when i tried to get my dvd+rw to burn my image using Acronis True Image v8 latest version, it wont let me burn at all. So i browsed the FAQ: So here my question, under my computer, InCD gave me 2 options, one is to format my dvd disc and one is to erase rewritable disc. Which one should I use, format the dvd disc or to erase the dvd disc, what are the differences?

or a full format or a full erase?

    Hi fteee,

You need to InCD Format an unformatted DVD+/-RW prior to creating the image. If you then want to delete that image in order to create a newer one then use InCD Quick Format. This will delete the previous data but retain the InCD (UDF) format.

If you use InCD Erase (full or quick) it will not only delete any previous data but will also remove the InCD (UDF) format. The DVD can then be used with Nero Burning ROM or any other, non drag-and-drop, CD/DVD burning software.

    Regards
