I need to bring over everything from
    pc1-XP Pro(many applications installed),Fat32-30 Gygas HD-
    to
    pc2-XP Pro(only OS installed),NTFS-80 Gygas HD-
obviously the two pcs have very different hardware characteristics,as pc2 is more recent and powerful.
I understood that Migrate Easy is for HD to HD only, but same pc used, and Snap Deploy is just for corporate orgs.
Is there a way to migrate to a different pc or exctracting just a part (i.e applications) and deploy it in this second pc?

    Hello poirot,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis System Transferring Software.

The main problem you may encounter using any software is that Windows, once installed for some particular system, may not start successfully on different system. Also there is no way to transfer just applications because it would require many different changes in registry, etc. I would recommend that you perform system transferring using Acronis Migrate Easy 7.0 and preparing the system before you transfer it as described at Acronis on-line article. If this doesn't help you may need to use Repair Installation procedure for Windows to make it bootable.

    Thank you.

Thanks a lot to both Ilya Totman and Jeremyotten-superlative but for me very difficult debate in your forum- now i will have to study the matter and see if i can do such a thing : what i didnt say for brevity reasons is i need to do this at a distance,an added problem,as i will have to oversee the local doings by phone in this case, not the best of situations as there is not much know how at the other end. But lets be optimistic and thanks again....i will post here again if successful.
