I want to start a blog and I want to keep it completely anonymous. I'm thinking that if I hide my IP when posting the blog that it will help keep things more anonymous. Basically, I don't want some agency tracking me down because they don't like what I blogged about.

Is there a FREE way to hide or spoof my IP? Also, would it be best to use an IP from another country? I'd prefer to use something that doesn't involve installing software.

I'm looking at Hidemyass and wondering if their free services would work?

Run a Tor hidden service. This gives you and your users privacy and anonymity with end-to-end encryption. We can talk about theoretical attacks by the NSA but the reality is that these sites are untouchable.

If you want your site to be available to non-Tor browsers you can use the tor2web protocol, but this will make it less secure.

I blog anonymously. I use a VPN. Just don't ever log into your account without the VPN because there will be a record of that IP address.

You can simple use any kind of anonymous proxy server. For posting to blog or forums any kind of anonymous proxy server is good. Only what count is that your IP address is hidden through proxy server. Hidemyass will works, TOR will works but and any other open proxy servers which are free will works.
