Need some help setting up VPN

    I bought NordVPN subscription, but they state that NETGEAR routers do not support OpenVPN as Client and provide no info on how to setup my router to work with NordVPN... My R8000P router has all the needed options/settings and support for OpenVPN as Client, provides a link to OpenVPN setup and a package with 4 files that go into CONFIG OpenVPN folder:
    ca.crt
    client.crt
    client.key
    client1.ovpn

    But how do I make the router use the actual NordVPN for VPN and make all traffic go through NordVPN?

    i'm afraid your router doesn't support dd-wrt. so you won't be able to use your vpn at router level. please see the links below for further information:

    Why don't you buy a cheap VPS and install your own open vpn?
