Need some Help on Ethernet Drivers

I'm running Vista on one of my Machines that I want to switch to Windows XP Pro. I've formatted and done a clean install, but I have n Network Connection, and I cant get on the Web

When I install XP, in the Device Manager /Network Adapters, the Ethernet has a Yellow ! and I dont know which Ethernet Driver to install

On Vista's Device Manager/Network Adapters it says:
Atheros AR5006X Wireless Network Adapter
NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller

I downloaded the NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller for 2000/XP but after installation it still had the Yellow ! and I cant connect

My Computer is a Compaq Presario Model Number SR5085AN AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core 4600+

I'd appreciate knowing what to download and install for the Ethernet, as I dont have any XP drivers on disk for this machine

 

try uninstalling the device (from device manager), restarting, then install this driver.

Do you have the original drivers you got when you bought the PC? That should do the trick.
