I agree that few people need 800W PSUs. And while integrated graphics have come a long way in recent years and are fully capable of supporting most users needs, separate graphics cards are still very popular, and not just for enthusiasts or gamers.

I can find nothing about Amazon selling a graphics processing online service. In fact, that does not make sense to me as the bandwidth bottleneck going over the Internet would be too great, bogging down the whole process.

If you can find that link, I would be very interested in reading it.

I already have 8GB of RAM and I have a Corsair 1,000 Watt PSU

My Graphics Card isn't up with lets say this generation of cards, but it does hold it's own for the graphics intensive games I currently own, as well as some games that I don't.

As for needing a bigger SSD and for price to lower, all I would really need anyways is a 120GB, since I use a minimal amount of hard drive space to the main drive.

I don't know, I still got some more thinking to do I guess.

My budget is actually pretty low this time around ($110 max). I did find an HD 7790 that makes my current card extremely weak, so if I were to get a card, my choice would be one of those. I have seen two different brand names of 7790's going for as low as $109.99.

Thank you, Bill_Bright for the link, looking at it now.

    Don't get a SSD. You're spoiled forever :D
As nongamer I think a SSD is the best investment you can get to speed up any PC/laptop.

My apologies. I recommend it all the time and so it was a bit automatic and I failed to go back and read through the thread before posting it.

I have decided to wait for awhile and get the card I truly want, which is the RADEON R9 270X 2GB GDDR5, with Mantle support.

SSD is being put on hold, but I will sooner or later get one.

I agree completely the performance gains going to SSD will spoil you rotten. But as far as the best investment, that would only be after ensuring there is a decent amount of RAM. It is important to remember that with a sufficient amount of RAM, the drive becomes less a factor in performance - at least once the program is loaded into RAM. And of course, boot times with an SSD are nothing short of amazing, regardless the amount of RAM you have.

    Sounds like a plan.

Got my SSD, now all I got to do is install it.

I also got the Apricorn Velocity solo PCIe x1 card to get 6 GB/s on my old Sata II board.

Can't wait to install this! :D

Thanks guys for all your help, I really do appreciate all the information that you all had for me....

    You guys are awesome! :thumb:

Just curious, what SSD and graphics setup do you all run?

None. Windows already knows how to detect, communicate and manage the SSD properly. The graphics card will come with a driver's disk but I always download the latest from the card's site instead. For one, installation disks often install a bunch of stuff you don't need, if not careful and for another, there is a good chance the driver on the disk is not the latest driver.
