need Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable

    Hi

    I need Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable ,but in the microsoft there is Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019 e 2022 for 64bit and 32bit

    but this does miss all the file I need like
    api-ms-win-core*.dll
    api-ms-win-crt*.dll
    they are more than 40 files ,and in the microsoft visual c++ there are no such file

    I guess it's visual c++ 2019 what do I need
    but why does microsoft complicate every thing ?

    Here is latest release and in fact was just updated today:

    If you read the main page of that post you will see the following:

    "VC++ 2022 runtimes are binary compatible with VC++ 2015-2017-2019 and cover all VS 2015-2017-2019-2022 programs"

    It seems that those are part of onedrive as well as windows (May, I installed in Sep) and apps that need them. I actually install VisualCppRedist_AIO_x86_x64, but it does not change any of those, so they should be present by default.

    but have you noticed that firefox 64bit and 32bit , do include these files ?
    api-ms-win-core*.dll
    api-ms-win-crt*.dll

    Honestly, why can not MS make one webpage with essential runtimes, like DX9, VisualC++, all store extensions, etc. So people would not have to roam hidden depths of the internet to find them.
