I attached an HDD that had Win 10 installed with Legacy BIOS to a system that had BIOS set to UEFI. The system runs well, but I cannot enter BIOS after pressing the "F2" key for the system—It displays "Please wait" at the bottom, but the system boots normally.

The other key "F12" to change the boot order is damaged and does not work. I do not have an external keyboard.
Win 10 Settings "Recovery-Advanced Startup" does not display the "Boot from USB/DVD" option.

I want to change the boot order to USB so I can do a clean install of Win 10 UEFI.

In this case, is there any way I can enter BIOS, use a bootable USB, or make available the "Boot from USB/DVD" option in Advanced Startup?

it could be helpful you can tell us about the used hardware, in special motherboard.

what i currently think is that you might run the connected windows but at least your computer is still on UEFI thus you cannot enter BIOS. BIOS and UEFI are like apples and oranges and have fundamental differences which are not comparable.

Is secure boot enabled? If so you're going to have to find a way to disable it first.

Only UEFI installs have "Boot from USB/DVD" in the Advanced Startup of Win 10, right?

I have an HP laptop with Win 10 UEFI installed.
Both Lenovo (mentioned here) and HP have Macrium 7 Home installed.
What if I copy the Macrium image of the HP laptop and try to restore it to the Lenovo laptop? If Lenovo boots, it would have "Boot from USB/DVD" in Advanced Startup. I can then do a clean install of Win 10 on it.

    What do you guys say?

I messed up. I tried converting MBR to GPT with Aomei. It was taking a long time without any progress bar. I shut down the system. It is not bootable now. I will try to fix the system and update here.

I tried disconnecting the jumper, pressing and holding the power button for a minute, and reconnecting the jumper after an hour, but it did not work.
I fixed it and reinstalled Win 10 with Legacy BIOS. I will get an external keyboard and reinstall Win 10 with UEFI.

Thank you for your support and time, guys!
