Need help to access my Network Places?

    Hello:

    I try to access my Network Places in the desktop, using properties, however I got a message said:"Windows can not access the specific device, path, file> You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the Item" and when I dissable APPDEFEND and REGDEFEND, then I access without problems. This situation is also happen with My Computer/properities and all others Icons.
    Need to set security for this action, however I don't know HOW?? your info. will be appreciated. Thanks o_O

    Hi aacm,

    You quite likely have set AppDefend to auto-block the execution of rundll32.exe. Scroll through your AppDefend rules and look for rundll32.exe. Once you find it, change its Execution permission to Ask User/Allow.
