I have SpyKiller and Spybot S&D and can't seem to get rid of CleverIEHooker and a RapidBlaster entry. Have been having problems with IE going to different places or locking up since I have noticed the CleverIEHooker.....

    Hi noslok,

I can only imagine how poorly your computer is performing.

    Download and run: http://www.memorywatcher.com/uninst.exe
The program needs internet access to finish.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://pop.popuptoast.com/9908/search/search.html

    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://default-homepage-network.com/start.cgi?hklm

    Download LSPfix here: http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
Launch the application, and click the "I know what I'm doing" checkbox.
Check all instances of inetadpt.dll (and nothing else), and move them to the "Remove" pane.
    Then click Finish.

    Download and run: CWShredder
Use the Fix button and follow the instructions you will receive.

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    C:\Program Files\TV Media <= entire folder
C:\WINDOWS\system32\IEXPLORE.EXE <= NOTE: only the one in this exact location, not anything that looks or sounds like it
    C:\WINDOWS\alchem.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\bxxs5.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\sysupd.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\fash.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\Kris\Application Data\rtts.exe

Post a new log when you are done, so we can see if everything worked out as planned.

    Regards,

    Pieter
