ter? Trying to connect the iphone to wifi but keep getting asked for a password. Can't find any key on the router. My wireless router is by D link but my internet provider is time warner. Do you think time warner should tell me my wifi password?

    cheater87,

Whoever setup the router created the WEP key. The same key was used in the computer.

Probably easiest to setup the router again but use the more secure WPA2.

Depending on the D-Link model, the default pw is either "admin" or or it's blank (no pw at all). If that doesn't work you could always re-set the router by holding in the reset button for about 15 seconds, then login with one of the defaults, and then be sure to set the pw (wireless passphrase) using WPA2 as Brian K suggested.

Your router is probably setup with a encryption key. Log into your router setting page and look under "wireless security" or a similar tab. The key should be there. You can also reset your router by pressing the reset button to remove the encryption key, but then keep in mind to also change the settings for your PCs etc, as then they will be unable to connect to your unencrypted router.
