I am new to Image for Windows and need some help. I have an ASUS laptop with Win.7 64 bit. I have followed the instructions and have created an ISO image but I can't find it to burn it. I have never done this before on Win 7. I never had a problem with XP.

    William,

I assume you are referring to IFD. If you don't click Browse on the final screen the .ISO is created in the same folder as makedisk.exe.

    C:\Program Files\TeraByte Unlimited\Image for Windows\V2\IFD

Well I now have something going. I have the boot disk ,but when I boot to it ,it wants me to put in the IFD Key but I can't get the cursor down from the name line to the Key line.

    William,

I'd make another CD as you should have entered your serial during the makedisk.exe process.

Was it a serial in this format?

    XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

You may have entered the IFW key by mistake.

I think I figured it out. I started over and in the Options screen there was a box to Use Win 7 MBR . I checked that box and now the CD works.

Good news. By the way, the answer to your earlier question about not being able to access the serial field is to use the TAB key.

You will need to use the TAB key in IFD too.
