"no command for booting operating system" is my error. Support gave me a link to download and create a bootable floppy, but I don't have a floppy drive to use- just a CDRW. This was www.acronis.com/files/support/acronisreport.exe
Does anyone know if there is a way to put it on a CD instead?

    Thanks!

If you have a CDRW I can't see why you could not make an Acronis boot CD after installing Acronis and use it to restore an image making sure that the bios was set to boot from a CD drive. I have found that some computers won't boot from the CD Rom unless it's on the primary IDE channel but if that's why a floppy was suggested you could make the CD Rom a secondary master on the primary IDE channel. Another possibility may be a peculiar bios that looks for a particular kind of boot CD and won't accept the Acronis boot CD. That would be a rare occurrence and would necessitate a boot floppy and I don't know how you would achieve that as an Acronis boot CD is too big to fit onto one floppy. Someone else may be able to answer that.

    Hello NeedHelpNow,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

There is not a way to create Acronis Report (diskette) on a CD. Please let me know your Acronis Request # which will be sent to you in autoreply.

    Thank you.
