NAV currently has a feature they style "script blocking". Might someone know enough about this feature to tell me whether or not this "script blocking" is a real time feature, requiring an active scan which blocks hostile scripts altogether, or something that simply triggers once the hostile script is ready to run?

I belive NAV uses the same technique as all AVs.
It checks all scripts between applications and WSH (Windows Scripting Host).
