Myspace IM issues??Computer crashes/Can't Open Task Manager

I have a few crashes since installing the myspace instant messenger. I was wondering if anyone else has had issues. I've gotten several blue error screens out of no where at times and when I reboot everything seems fine. Lately I've gotten the blue screen and then when rebooting the check disk runs. Then on the last one I seem to have lost the ability to open task manager. DEP ran the message " Data Execution Prevention has closed this program do prevent damage to your computer". The program being windows task manager. I have no idea whats going on here. My only thought is that this is tied to the recent install of myspace IM but I'm really sure.

I did run Avira's scan and it showed nothing except that 2 files could not be read or scanned. Haven't run Spyware Terminator's scan yet.

I've also have just recently installed the latest windows updates except for the outlook one(i don't use outlook) and have yet to install XP SP3.

 

Hmm.....for some odd reason my Task Manager is back. Just tried it just now and it showed no problem. Interesting.
