    Hi guys,
    I hope this works, it's the first time I've done this. I updated and ran Ad-aware 6 and Spybot S&D before running Hijack. I'd been having problems with pop up porn sites, so I downloaded and ran Ad-aware and Spybot. That seemed to do the trick, but I still had trouble with a couple of others. That's when I downloaded and ran SpywareBlaster 3.1.
    When it finished, I found the pop ups in the Browser pages. Anyway, here's the log file. Hope someone can help with it.
    Cheers, Lacey :D

    Hi Lacey,

    Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.myexexex.com/searchbar.php

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://www.myexexex.com/search.php?said=spage
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = http://www.myexexex.com/search.php?said=spage
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = file://c:/spad/start.html
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.myexexex.com/searchbar.php
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://www.myexexex.com/search.php?said=spage&qq=%s
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = file://c:/spad/start.html
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://www.myexexex.com/search.php?said=spage&qq=%s
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = http://www.myexexex.com/search.php?said=spage
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://www.myexexex.com/search.php?said=spage
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customize/ie/defaults/su/ymsgr/*http://www.yahoo.com

    O2 - BHO: NavErrRedir Class - {00D6A7E7-4A97-456f-848A-3B75BF7554D7} - (no file)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Program first] C:\PROGRA~1\STUPID~1\Size Less.exe

    O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/02e8fc8021ea08c9ed05/netzip/RdxIE601.cab

    Then download this file and rename it to spad.reg
    Doubleclick it and confirm to merge with the registry.

    Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    c:\spad <= entire folder
    HPCMDTY.DLL <= most likely in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM
    c_10230.dll <= most likely in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Hey Pieter,
    Thanks for replying so quick. Sorry it took longer for me to get back, but I did everything you said, down to the last two. I couldn't find "HPCMDTY.DLL" or "c_10230.dll" though.
    I looked in Systems...I did a search, with no results. I even looked manually in some other folders, but nada!Could you please tell me what that means?
    Thanks heaps for your help, Lacey.

    It probably meant I was looking for the wrong variant.

    Did it at least help?

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Well, I deleted all the other ones and the c:\spad, so I'm guessing I won't have any more trouble with them! Like I said, thanks for all this! :D
    I see you've been very busy tonight/today? (It's 1:17am here in Oz)
    BTW, I wasn't thanking myself in my last post. I just realised it looked like it after I posted.....LOL :rolleyes:
    Anyway, you guys are the best!!!! (Yes, I'm gonna say it again).....THANKYOU!! :D
    Lacey
