    I am using B&R 10 Home. After cleaning the backup console via the wizard, an error message pop-up saying something about the MBR is full and can't be written on. Afterwards I tried to make a backup of the system. This requires restarting the system. After restarting, I cannot boot anymore. I tried fixing the MBR using the Paragon Recovery WinPE CD but it did not help at all. using the recovery CD, i found out that the system drive is not formatted.

    Can anyone help me?

    Connect the backup hard disk to an another computer and try a data recovery program.

    Did you try doing a chkdsk c: /f on the drive. If your getting "drive is not formatted" errors thats a good sign that the drive is corrupted a chkdsk can usually fix that.

    Data recovery is your last option, you can usually fix file corruption with chkdsk or testdisk. As long as you don't write to the hard drive all you data should be safe.

    Did you try the partition recovery function on the paragon boot disc?

    I haven't tried the chkdsk yet. I will find some tools for it.

    @SIW2

    The partition recovery option can't be use. The program says that there is no missing partition.

    Sorry, forgot Paragon partition recovery will only search iunallocated space.

    I would use an app. with partition recovery that will scan any drive - unallocated or not.

    Could you please boot from RCD, launch Paragon program in full scale to generate LOGs and save log files:
    * Select Normal mode
    * Run Hard Disk Manager
    * Close Hard Disk Manager
    * Select LOGs Saver , click Next
    * Mark 'Save all LOGS in one archive' , click Next
    * Select Mounted Resources to save archive on your USB-drive, click Next
    * In the next window click [...] next to path and set the desired destination (e.g. USB-flash), click Next
    * Click Finish (Do not click 'Send LOGs by email')

    Then please use upload logs to FTP using credentials from private message.
