    S... O--- S...
my PC's OS is XP2003 sp4 and is paralysed by this -
" RegRun Partisan. Greatis Software (c)2006
    \??\C:\Windows\System32\Partizan.RRI "

at the windows blue start screen!
It freezes here and I havent a clue what to do or how to get past this screen at all
I have recently installed trials of 'Spybot Search & Destroy' and 'Unhackme' Both softwares come recommended from Rootkits for dummies noow I believe they are conflicting.
'Unhackme',similarly anti-rootkit software, last time I checked it it declared "dont worry there is no trojan"
But there seems no way past this screen - or is there any hope ?

I have tried booting into safe mode in an attempt to uninstall the trial anti-rootkit software But that doesnt get past the pagelong list of drivers which also stops eternally frozen No sign of any usable desktop to amend the system.

I have no backup disc ... yes I know Im an idiot and I, deservedly, am dying of shame here. ?:(
If you have suffered anything as above and are wise to the problem I really hope you can offer some answer to this problem - especially if you happen to be from Greatis you are the experts
I AM certainly NOTsurly and ungreatful for the free software!
please HELP with such any steps to recover.

    sincerely,

    Redmeansdead

If you have access to another box, create, then boot a recovery console. Cd to your system32 folder, delete the offender. With any luck, file's removed there will be enough to get past your blue screen and as you say, "amend your system."
