    Hi daf89,

    Before you start, please unzip hijackthis to a separate folder. The program will make backups in the folder in the folder it's in.
    These easily get lost in a Temp folder.

    Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://prosearching.com/searchbar.html
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://prosearching.com/searchbar.html

    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://prosearching.com/searchbar.html
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://prosearching.com/searchbar.html
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://prosearching.com/searchbar.html
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {01C5BF6C-E699-4CD7-BEA1-786FA05C83AB} - C:\Program Files\SysAI\AproposPlugin.dll

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {316C63CF-5FB5-E0B6-4421-5B697C40EB2F} - C:\PROGRA~1\OKAYPI~1\WarnElse.dll

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)

    O3 - Toolbar: Road ball safe - {85FB5005-57B8-C2C7-6180-1B93C3147396} - C:\PROGRA~1\OKAYPI~1\WarnElse.dll

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UpdReg] C:\WINDOWS\UpdReg.EXE

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [title ace] C:\PROGRA~1\FourBlueBeep\For deaf plan.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AutoUpdater] "C:\Program Files\AutoUpdate\AutoUpdate.exe"

    Then reboot into safe mode
    and delete:
    C:\Program Files\AutoUpdate <= entire folder
    C:\Program Files\FourBlueBeep <= entire folder
    C:\Program Files\SysAI <= entire folder
    C:\Program Files\OKAYPI~1 <= entire folder that holds WarnElse.dll

    Thanks alot Pieter,
    I did what u said and all the problems ive noticed are gone. However, when i rebooted in safemode i was only able to delete

    C:\Program Files\AutoUpdate
    C:\Program Files\FourBlueBeep

    The other 2 Folders were not there.
    How can i unhide/find them?

    some of the files or folders you need to delete may be hidden do this:
    Open Windows Explorer & Go to Tools > Folder Options. Click on the View tab and make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is checked. Also uncheck "Hide protected operating system files" and untick "hide extensions for known file types" . Now click "Apply to all folders"
    Click "Apply" then "OK"

    Hi daf89,

    They were definitely running in your last log.
    So it could well be hidden files.
    Check here how to "unhide" those: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=192
    Post another log after looking so we can check if they are still active.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Hi daf,

    Your log looks clean however I have one question.

    Have you used msconfig to keep some programs from starting up at boot?

    Please re-enable all programs in msconfig, reboot, and post a new HJT log so we can verify that you are totally clean.

    Regards,
    Kent
