    Hi Kris,

Can you tell me where this entry came from?

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [00saskda] "C:\Program Files\Security Administrator\newadmin.exe" saskda

Apart from that unknown and the fact you never seem to have updated Windows or IE, your log looks OK.

    Regards,

    Pieter

    Ah. Thanks dvk01.

I found this in the meantime:
    http://www.securitytracker.com/alerts/2003/Jul/1007120.html
That links to the same site, so that should be a match. :)

    Thanks for the replies.

    The program is this: http://download.com.com/3000-2092-10277099.html?tag=lst-0-1

I couldn't work out how to hide drives from other users using Win XP, so I got that software.

    Hi Kris,

    Just to verify...

After that one item was cleared up as to what that entry was, there is no obvious problems with your HJT log. It is clean.

Are you having any particular problems?

This program "C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking\P2P Networking.exe" could be trying to get out and causing that. Any specific info you could provide as to what ZA is alerting to?

    Regards,
    Kent

The only problem occassionally is when the connect to internet box pops up by itself, not ZA... I've found that it is Zone Alarm trying to connect me to the internet for some reason, auto updating or something.

This was set to auto by default, so I think I fixed the problem.
