    Hi everyone :)
Well our home for the past two weeks was excellent.
We stayed at the the magnificent Hilton waterfalls resort in rus um sid in sharm el_sheikh in Egypt. The hotel itself had stunning views in a elevated position situated in a cliff top position. The hotel had three large swimming pools on three elevated levels all commanding a magnificent sea facing position with the reef right on the waters edge. The weather was very hot at 45 Celsius each day and not a single cloud throughout our stay. The evening's were also very warm at 35 Celsius so we could not do much sightseeing but stay in the sea which is what we did. The very abundant marine life here was as spectacular as the hotel. Marine fish of all color's and coral's in massive Numbers. One of the hotels main strengths was the cable car that went from the reception/restaurant area down the 150 meters two the bottom pool and sea level. The waterfall was also spectacular as it cascaded down to the bottom pool. The food and and staff of this hotel were excellent as was the grounds. So if anyone should be looking for this type of vacation Then this is the place to be. Like all good things this sadly came to an end but you can be sure we will return :)
I have got some good photo's of the resort and hopefully my encounter with the Napoleon wrasse on the last day of the Holiday of which i am still waiting for that photograph to come back from the developer's and will let you see it as soon as i get it

    Nick,

What great pictures! I wanted to jump right though the screen into the pools, looks like your whole family was having a blast, tattoos and all!:)
I had never heard of the Wrassle(?), it certainly is big and it kinda of looks like Mr Potato Head only as a fish. It's an interesting looking fish, for sure!

Snowbound, thanks for the new link! All kinds of new "alien" lifeforms there!

Glad you and your family had such a great time and are sharing it with us, Nick!

    Marja
