My friend is worried because her Avast didn't have the update popup appear but

    it did make the update noise. It did make the noise but no green notification saying that it was updated to the newest database. What settings would we have to go to to turn that back on if it was turned off? I don't have Avast at the moment so I can't check.

    I have Pirate Talk enabled, but I believe the settings shown are generic enough. Hope this helps. :)
