I go through a lot of software. An addictive side-effect of Wilders Security Forums. So I have narrowed down to four my favorite software apps. Well may some say they like AntiExcutables, but nothing is dearer than my executioners:

    Sandboxie
    Shadow Defender
    SnapShot Imaging
    RevoUninstaller

Normally I would just ignore this thread but today I feel like nitpicking and will ask: what kind of replies are you expecting here? Are you asking for our top4 favorite software?

I'm just reaching out to other closet software addicts who maybe reading this to say: "Hey, you're not alone. 'Uninstall' is not a dirty word."

Out of curiosity, what do you need Revo for since you got Shadow Defender and SBIE? o_O

Testing is when I first download the program and try it. Some qualify for a trial if they look promising. These I install as per permanent mostly and they can last a day or a week or so.

This is where Revo comes in. The programs are what we talk about here. Not too hazardous.

There was another program I left off as I don't reach for it often. Thank god. Its good ol' SnapShot imaging. No one should be without it or similar. Its the first building block for security. You install it even before AV or any other thing. No matter what the disaster or from what direction it came. Snapshot. A quick backtrack and your on your way again.
