My Antivir scanner don't start...why???

I am just trying to do an on-demand scan on my pc, but the scanner could not start....it just flashes then gone... ...

The AntiVir Guard was working properly and I can always see the umbrella open, and of course doing it job securing my pc, and I can also disable it if I want to.

The problem was that, I could not do to use the on demand scanner to scan my pc, everytime I try to start scanning it just flashes and disappears.

What should I do, is there need to re-install the program?

Or maybe, I have to download the latest version?

 

personally i would re-install.

if the problem still exists, then contact avira with your problem.

 

Have you tried Add/Remove>Change>Modify? Remove and then add the on-demand scanner again.

Before trying an uninstall, try posting over on the AntiVir Forum.

Is this is a recent problem with AntiVir after a long period of use? If so, have you installed some other software of late/has this arisen after a latest update?

Any relevant error messages in the log-file?

 

If you have been just performing Manual Updates, you must perform an online update.

There is a file (not included with Manual Update fusebundle) that is needed and would be installed by Online Update.

You could also do an uninstall/clean/fresh install, latest versions are on This Site avoid the mirrors on upper section and use one from the lower section ("Download from AVIRA").
