Who wants to Tux forever! Not that long ago, I refreshed an eight-year old laptop with a brand-new Linux distro, and it's working great. But those are rookie numbers. How about 10 years? More? Behold, a review of KDE neon 5.22 User Edition installed on an 11-year-old HP Pavilion laptop, with Nvidia graphics and Broadcom Wireless, as replacement for the existing dual-boot configuration, covering full disk encryption, look and feel, customization, hardware compatibility, proprietary drivers, performance, responsiveness, resource utilization, and more. Enjoy.

Thanks @Mrkvonic for the extensive and interesting article.

    Typo in section
'Now, neon warmed me that the hard disk is about to die'

    should be 'warned'
