Dr. Frankenstein, hello, it's alive, I repeat, it's alive. We ahve another highly enthusiastic review of MX Linux MX-18.1 Continuum deployed on a 10-year-old laptop with Nvidia graphics, covering history and expectations, super-fast installation, data re-use, desktop configuration, tweaks and customization, hardware and software compatibility, proprietary drivers, HD video playback, low resource usage, good performance, excellent responsiveness, solid battery life, some niggles, other observations, and more. Enjoy. https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/lg-laptop-10-years-mx-linux.html Cheers, Mrk
Nice review Mrk, thanks! I'm still dual-booting this distro with Windows 10 Pro. It is probably the best distro I've used, but I think Lite which I use a few years back was close to his one in terms of speed, stability and features for a lightweight distro. I think the antiX and MEPIS communities have done an excellent job on this project.
