This morning Discover Software Center showed several pipewire and libpipewire updates available for install. After installing and re-booting, I had no audio whatsoever. Alsamixer showed host down and no software or devices in use. I know for sure one or more of the updates botched my audio, because I re-installed an iso image I created yesterday, got the audio back, and when re-installing the updates and re-booting, audio was lost again.

The fix was to issue command from terminal:
    Code:
    sudo apt-get remove pipewire
and all audio including alsamixer is restored.

Looks like a problem obviously with one or more of the pipewire updates. Just wondering if any else is using latest MX Linux and encountered this issue? I will see if I can report this in the MX forums.

Almost immediately after I sent the bug report, a response came promising a fix tonight for a similar reported bug earlier :thumb:
