I tried to download and install this antivirus/toolkit and looks like this is another rogue antivirus or is it ? What happens when I install it Bitdefender pops up and says Infected with: BehavesLike:Win32.FileInfector.

Ok. So your saying MWAV is a proper/true AV software and not some type of rogue.

yes. im 100% confident thats its legit tho their AV product could be better.

the toolkit used to be somewhat popular as an ondemand scanner, but in some past version they disabled the ability to clean detected malware.

Yes your correct according to their website they make it clear that it will scan your PC for infections but will not clean or cure them, so really pointless unless you buy the program.

USA still the best. But barely.
It's like going to a carwash. Pay. Pull up to the wash line. Then the attendant says, "Yup your car is dirty. But uhh we don't wash cars here. So just turn around & have a nice day."

Not really, it's more like going to a doctor with all the latest technology and having them tell you that you have a hard to detect sickness for free, then you look up free tools to cure yourself ;)

    Cheers,
