    Hey you all.

I have a question. Everytime i get a file from a friend on MSN, NOD32 performs a scan, and pops up log. Is there anyway that he just performs the silent scan and does not pop up any window? It's kind of annoying.. even Norton (which i hate) has that feature.

(I have put silent mode, and it still happens) Help??

    Hello ! Welcome to Wilders!

Simply disable the file checking in MSN/Live/Windows Messenger .

NOD32's IMON and AMON will check the file(s) upon transfer,create/execute/access and will warn you only when there is a virus/malware in the file(s) .

    1. Login to Messenger.

    2. Click on Tools.

    3. Click on Options.

    4. Click on “File Transfer”.

    5. Uncheck “Scan files for viruses using" . Apply and OK :thumb:

But they will be scanned as they are now , again , but only from IMON and AMON , not by the on-demand scanner . It is really unnecessary to scan them again .

NOD32 Anti-Virus system provides you with permanent real-time protection thanks to its Threat-protection modules (AMON,DMON,EMON,IMON) . Read more about them here , at the bottom . As I said this protection is permament , from the computer start-up till it switches off. If somehow there is a threat , it will be detected by the real time modules , not necessary for the on-demand scanner to scan the files again.
