   It seems clear from the forum that a lot of members reformat their HD when they uninstall certain software what's the reason?
   
   Does not MS uninstaller (i.e UnInstall Shield) do the job?

   i'm not exactly sure what you are talking about? i would never reformat my hard drive after uninstalling a program. which threads are you refering to?
