MS-DOS PORT 445 QUERY.

    Hello,
    My firewall is blocking by default MS-DOS on port no.445 inbound.Upon research i have discovered this is the microsoft directory service.My firewall logs show windows operating system is blocked inbound.
    My question is ,should this connection be permitted as the firewall was blocking by default,
    Any suggestions please.
