    Hmm.. 120 USD p.a.
KAV pro suddenly looks dirt cheap.

If this is their all in one package -- antivirus, spyware, firewall -- and their plan really is to charge that amount of money, all the other AV and Firewall vendors haven't a thing to worry about. Although it appears MS is initially going after the business market, I'm assuming they'll have something similar for the home user too -- probably with a lower price, like $9 US a month.

So how can Microsoft Antispyware be free, if it's going to (alledged, according to the article be implemented into this "OneCare) product? o_O

Easy, they'll just make two products. The version in the AV probably won't have the same real-time components, or if they do they'll incorporate AV detection into the anti-spyware. Heh, I'll be curious to see if their system maintenance apps will be any better/different than what's already in Windows. It better be one hell of a package for $120/yr.

Adding ten bucks to your cable bill will probably subject that amount to additional taxes, regulatory fees, and surcharges, bringing the actual amount closer to $15. Such a deal!
