I didn't understand the simulator test. I believe that in this case, hackers modify websites in order to steal data, so how the hell can security software protect against this? I mean it's not the browser that's being manipulated. So I wonder how the simulator exactly works.
I've read some more, and this simulator works just like banking trojans, they modify browser memory. So weird that not a single tool blocked the simulator. Too bad they didn't test SpyShelter and HMPA. But anyway, if hackers directly modify websites, security tools won't be able to block such an attack, because they can't know if it's legitimate website content or not.
Interesting, no more webroot? maybe because their test won't work on them? or just because they aren't AV?
yes especially when it performed quite well in the past...i bet "behind the curtain" stuff, usual with test labs.
