    I am new to Firefox and am having a problem - I can not open .pdf files in a browser window or tab. Any ideas?

    Works fine here as you can see in the screenshot..


    I add a 2nd screenshot with the setting you should check in Acrobat Reader.

    Yes - the settings are correct but all I get is a blank page but all I get is a blank page with "Done" in the bottom left hand corner of the screen

    Did you try to deinstall Acrobat reader and re-install it after?

    Didn't even give it a thought - have done so now - it works!!!!
