Mozilla AMO merge into FF Marketplace, FF/Thunderbird/Seamonkey implications

    Some followup searches after hearing of Mozilla's Add-on File Registration System requirements led me to this:

    Does anyone here follow the future plans? Is our future one where users will be required to have a Mozilla Persona single-signon account to download/update addons? One where the focus is on monetization of addons? Creating the possibility that popular addons may go pay-for and we'll also have to cough up financial information to purchase/use them?
