mouse drag color change

is it possible to change the mouse drag color option? When i click and hold the left click button and highlight a area it is a light blue color with white text. Can i change it to black highlight or red highlight with white text?

i still dont get it. Sorry for the delay was doing homework. I right-click but im not sure what i need to get?

 

Look @ the last screenshot here - you'll find what you're after in the "item" drop-down. Shouldn't be too different for Vista.

What's not working? If you aren't specific, you limit the responder.

 

i went to selected items from advanced appearance menu and changed the default color from light blue to black but it still displays light blue highlights. It says under advanced appearance ''colors and sizes selected here only apply to windows classic color scheme if any other are selected these colors and sizes might not appear'' im running vista

 

If classic color scheme's not an option I'd ask the boys over on Virtual Plastic.
