looking for help on this, posting again, simplified

Has anyone successfully mounted an image in XP Home (not Pro) with TI 11 or TI 2009 Home?

GroverH, yes I saw that. I have been troubleshooting well past that stage. I am convinced that XP Home does not see the Acronis driver for virtual drives. Works OK in XP Pro. Windows is creating the error. (I am a SW engr)

I am tired of Acronis Tech support asking me for data and logs. If anyone can verify they can mount with XP Home it would help a lot. I have asked Acronis to do that, no reply.

I have a temporary XP Home test partition on my PC, and I was successful in mounting partition images with it. My version of ATI is 11 build 8053. The OS is at least SP2; I don't believe I updated it to SP3, but I'm not 100% sure.

    Hello babakan,

Thank you for your interesting in Acronis True Image

Officially Acronis True Image 11 Home and Acronis True Image Home 2009 do not support Windows XP Home edition. See the following link with software system requirements.

    Best regards,
