Once upon a time, Morpheus advertised itself as being spyware free and it was. That was at lest 2 years ago and things have certainly changed with that program. I don't bother to concern myself as to why they changed, the fact that it's not a clean program anymore is enough for me to avoid it. Money or the promise of money is probably why they changed.
