more info on winrollback

    I have just read about some software named winrollback mentioned in another thread. I am interested in more information about the product but was unable to find much in the way of reviews on it using google.
    Some of the questions I have are: is it safe? (e. no spyware etc.)
    Can it readily be disabled when trying to enter new data etc? (files, word processor, anti virus updates)
    Any downsides for use on a private machine?
