    So why are there no iOS antiviruses?

    Where did it say that? The lack of those viruses is due to Apple's closed ecosystem. They vet very carefully which apps are allowed in the App Store, (almost) to the point of censorship. The apps are more limited in function and access to the OS, and you can't install from other sources. The only way to do that is by jailbreaking, which is far harder (plus costlier) than rooting Android devices and unsupported by Apple. And of course Android dominates the marketshare by providing more choice and freedom, making malware easier and more worthwhile.
