I got this link from a friend on MSN and i clicked on it on accident.
Then i got on some elite hackers.net site or whatever and then it said:
Your IP has been stored i will hack you soon.
    What the?
I got ESET Smart Security but i have a strange feeling about this.
I got All on and i got Norton AntiBot too.

If I was going to hack sombodys machine, I wouldnt warn them first, sounds more like a prank to make you paranoid, you said the link came from a friend?

    What is the actual url?

    Tips:

Make sure your settings are right in your ESET firewall.....

If you have a dynamic IP you can reset your IP address by simply unplugging your modem for a minute, or you can go into your modem settings under Status and click disconnect, then connect, this will give you a new IP. (Note, this may/can vary with different modem models)

on my modem I just enter http://192.168.0.1/ in my browser and I have access to my modem settings, or you can Google for instructions on how to access your modem settings.

Or if you have a static IP you can contact your ISP and let them know what happened, and they can assign you a new IP.
