Mirc is a chat program for irc, it is text based chat.

When starting it process guard picks up that (a) it tries to start a driver/service and (b) in the window it says c:\winnt\msagent\agentsvr.exe - embedding, also says allowed to start.

However it doesnt say what driver/service.

    Any advice on this thanks.

yeah read it, very unusual since no speech or animated icon is used in the app. I am starting to see some fair few scaremongering warnings with processguard tho.

    maxthon denied global hooks access.
    same with opera
maxthon and opera both denied global memory access.
opera denied install driver/service this made it crash.
    plus more

my point is although its simple to allow the fact so many legit apps need these types of access how do you know if its legit access or not?

u cant always know. either u trust the software or not; if ur not sure, u can also try doing research via google or posting at a forum such as this one.
