I tested MiniTool ShadowMaker version 3 extensively a few years back. I even bought a license. I can't remember the exact problems I had with it, but support was terrible, and I couldn't find answers to some things, so I gave up on it. Unlike MiniTool Partition Manager, MiniTool ShadowMaker wasn't as intuitive. But I see the first dot point in the version 4 changelog is "New user interface and user interaction", so maybe it has improved.
