    Nerdy.

    Logitech is cheaper and far better built in the hardware department and every Windows version supports them, with or without the requisite Setpoint driver software.

    :( Gee whiz. These devices have not even been released yet, thus you have not seen them, and yet you already trash them. :rolleyes:

    FTR, I totally disagree with you. We've been using Microsoft keyboards and mice for many years now and find them as well built as Logitech, and in many cases even better. In fact, I don't know who makes Microsoft keyboards and mice, but they are great products, very well made, and very reliable. I am using the Microsoft Comfort 5050 Keyboard and Mouse on this computer and love them. And the price clearly is very reasonable too.

    And you don't need any Setpoint or special Microsoft driver for them either. Though if you choose to use the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center software, you can and it works great too.

    No doubt Logitech makes some good products, I use a Logitech mouse with my notebook and really like it. But come on! To suggest the entire line of Logitech keyboards and mice are "far better" than Microsoft's offerings (especially when you clearly have not seen every product from each) is simply nonsense - and frankly, biased bashing. The truth is, Logitech does make some good (and expensive) keyboards. But they also makes some of the cheapest, flimsiest, waste of money, keyboards and mice I've ever seen.

    wow a fingerprint sensor huh. Nice. Now your computer can be used to;
    record your voice,
    take your picture,
    and monitor;
    what you think about (via what you search for and read about),
    who your friends and associates are (via contact lists and social media,
    Your sexual preferences(via your choice of porn),
    Your purchases
    Your taste in movies, music
    Your politics
    and then tie all that to who you are by yourfingerprint.
    I feel sorry for the cops soon they'll be out of a job cause everyones already got one in their house.
    Now... how to find a way to coerce the people into believing it is for their own good to place a drop of blood in the Microsoft DNA analyser each time they log in.......

    Has anyone else noticed the one thing computers now don't do that they did do when they were first made available to the general public in the '80s ?
    That one thing is to provide any means for the user to learn how to interact with their computer programmaticaly even though that was what they were designed for.

    Hah.

    I was laughed at back in the day when I suggested with 100% total confidence that ms windows was no more, no less than a glorified COPY MACHINE.

    And this is exactly what she does. Copy, copy, copy, record this, record that, etc. either for the convenience of the user or to the dismay of the same.

    Every smartphone has this, so what's the big deal?
    BTW, I've using a $5 dollar mouse and a $10 dollar keyboard - Microsoft's.
    Years and years of wear, and they work fabulously.
    Mrk
