Microsoft wants Windows Update to handle all apps

    I see this causing problems especially when updating Drivers.

    I wonder how antivirus/antimalware will deal with this and the issues that could arise from it.

    They already update drivers through Windows Update. I've even received BIOS updates from it. It gets really annoying when they downgrade my graphics driver and I have to upgrade it again and block the update.

    My greatest concern would be 3rd party updates where they force update you to a broken version or if it is licensed and your license doesn't cover the new version.

    Indeed. Just one more time wasting nuisance that their outfit sees fit to cost a user production time SIGH :oops:
