Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 final released

    Virtual pc has a hardware assisted virtualization option which can be enabled if your system supports it.

    I don't know if its specific only to vpc as i haven't used other vm software very much.

    VMWare Workstation, MS Virtual PC, Parallels Workstation, and Virtual Box all have hardware acceleration drivers that you have to install into the guest OS in order to get full functionality and integration from the video adapter, mouse, and/or keyboard, or other integrated features like shared folders.

    Not all OS's have these acceleration drivers made for them.
