How to install early security updates? There is only a Windows update settings switch "Get the lastest updates as soons as they're available", but that mentions non-security updates.
Each CVE lists the status of the fix for the vulnerability, what you need to do now, and how to obtain the update when available.
I expect any of the security updates to release today as it is patch Tuesday. That switch seems to just replace what they used to call a cumulative update preview. Now they just give it to you if that switch is on.
Ah yes, I'm used to the fact that updates are already available when Microsoft publishes the information. I thought this was an early (test)update, but apparently it was just an early notice and updates are available now as part of the patch tuesday.
