    Built-in hardware keyscrambler. Is it possible on a wired keyboard?

    I don't believe that's what it is. This is encrypting the wireless signal between the dongle and your keyboard/mouse.

    Yeah, this is just to prevent people from seeing what you type by looking at the unencrypted signal. This will not do anything against typical keyloggers.

    What, so it's no better than a wired keyboard for security in the first place?

    Yes, wired is far better. But if you prefer wireless this adds a layer of security.
