Microsoft will be hosting an education-focused event next week on Tuesday, November 9th, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. PT (12:00 p.m. ET).
On Microsoft's invite website, the succinct and cryptic description reads:

Join us at 9 a.m. PT on Tuesday, Nov. 9, as we share an inside look at the latest tech solutions while examining gaps in learning left by the pandemic. Hear from Microsoft partners, school leaders and a few special guests, and learn about new and existing technology from Microsoft Education.
While official details are scarce, the event comes about a month after the release of Windows 11 and might include education-focused updates for the operating system.

As we had reported on earlier, Microsoft is reportedly working on a new Surface laptop, codenamed "Tenjin", running "Windows 11 SE" which is said to be geared towards the educational sector. This device reportedly has an 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 resolution display, coupled with an Intel Celeron N4120 processor, and up to 8 GB of RAM.

If Microsoft were to introduce this education-focused laptop, an education-focused event would be the prime candidate for a reveal.
